To the left of the front door to the stables house there is a large noticeboard, with the letters Competitions in big black letters. You can see some relatively old fliers pinned to the board. The most notable is the 'Day at the races' flier that appears to be a couple of months old. There are some details for the past events and photographs of winners too.

A bright orange flyer has been pinned to the board. Written at the top of the flyer in big black letters Halloween Nightmare Shows. This Halloween Rose Cross stables invites you to bring along your little terrors to show off at our arena. Give them some of the attention that they deserve, for fun an frolics and maybe some prizes! Come along to the our Halloween event of the year!



The Rules

This is pretty simple, nightmares or nightmare half breeds only please as its an event to show case them to the best of their abilities. You can only enter one nightmare per category however, and for each entry you need to do a drawing.

Halter class: Each class is its own category (so you can enter in a mare, foal and stallion respectively). It must show the nightmare standing or trotting only and at least a background please. If they would normally have a handler then please draw a halter and lead rope (at least if not a handler). None of the horses need training for this really.

Free show: Horses here must be trained for dressage or haute ecole (or maybe even film stunts that would be fun). The horses can either be ridden or not, again depending upon if they normally would or not. Please include a background of some sort. If the horse has not been trained but you would like to take part just draw a simple training picture,at least the horse doing some moves would be wonderful.

Races: I will start off doing one race for this with 6 spaces open. As more people decide they want to join in I will open up more race tracks for people to run on. Obviously the horse needs to be running through some outside background but due to the nature of nightmares no handler is needed to be shown. Also due to the nature of nightmares, no training needs to be given for this category, most can run stupidly fast as it is.

Parade: Just for fun, draw your horse going either left or right with no background and at the end I will make a large picture for everyone.

The competition closes on Novemeber 30th

Prizes

1st prize: All first prizes will get a fill colour full body picture of their horse plus a ribbon with their stables name and horse name on it.

2nd prize: Will get a head shot of their horse and a ribbon with their horses name on it and their stables name

3rd prize: Will get a ribbon with their horses name and stables on it.
Parade: There will be a big picture at the end for all of your horses, and a ribbon to say thanks. Idea was from Dark fantasy farms but I thought it worked better than my costume parade idea last time.
