My character is 's dragon-blooded Exhalted game. She is a ranger by nature and her only companions are her horse and a large earthbird (I think). She is a pariah among the dragon-blooded and is known as the black widow. Every man she has ever married or been engaged to has ended up dead shortly afterwards. So to escape the presure of society she went into the plains to learn the ways of the hunt.
As for this drawing: I am sort of ok with it. The outline looks pretty good to me and I think I managed to get the hands right (for once). However I am not actually that happy with the picture. But after about three hours of staring at it and wandering what to fix I couldn;t quite find anything. Help here is most apreciated.
For me, there are a few things with the anatomy that need addressing. Firstly, although I like her leather gorgette with it's high collar, her neck extends just a little too far from it, giving it the appearance of being a little too long. The eyes look a little widely spaced, with her right eye appearing just a little too far apart from her left. The part of her forearm below her elbow, where it disappears into her glove looks a little narrow, usually the forearm begins to taper just a little further down, almost halfway between the elbow and the wrist, as a rule of thumb, in the majority of people the length of the arm from the inside of the elbow to the wrist corresponds to the length of their own foot.
One other detail, the bowstring should be on 'the other side' of her arm.

As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board. This is a special feature, with a selection of 50 manips from the past year that we loved.
